NYC Men in Nursing is the New York City Chapter of the American Assembly for Men in Nursing, the social, professional, and charitable home for the men in nursing of NYC. NYC Men in Nursing was formed to support the personal and professional growth of men in nursing, to increase the number of male nurses in the profession, to address men's health issues, and more broadly, to advocate for the pursuit of healthy living on the individual, community, and national levels. As we foster the talents of our own members, perhaps we will learn a little more about ourselves, each other, and this dynamic city in which we live.
The M.E.N. is a student-led organization that aims to provide structure for all nursing students within New York University's College of Nursing to come together as a group and share, inform, and help change the concerns and perceptions that effect men and what it means to be a man in nursing. Participants will learn about current best-practices in cardiovascular health. This gathering is also an opportunity to network with nurses around NYC and learn about careers in nursing.
Dinner will be served during this event
